Title: Green Energy Cloud and Artificial Intelligence Services
Abstract:
Today, green energy is a very hot topic in building renewable and sustainable smart cities. As the fast advance of green technologies and AI techniques, many green energy technologies and systems are developed and deployed. To provide a new cost-effective green energy cyber system infrastructure with intelligent services, Dr. Gao first introduces the basic concept of green energy clouds, discusses its infrastructure, service and deployment models, and computing features, as well ascloud services and benefits. In addition, its current issues, challenges, and needs are presented. In the second part of this talk, Dr. Gao provides an overview and taxonomy of green energy AI services, and the state-of-the-art machine learning models for green energy applications. Dr. Gao reviews diverse machine learning models used for green energy power generation & prediction, load forecasting, energy storage life assessment, energy usage prediction, and electricity trading and price prediction. Later, Dr. Gao presents new intelligent green energy supply demand models based on machine learning. Finally, the future demand and research directions are discussed.
