Biography: 
Gao Shuling is a professor at the School of Foreign Languages , Northwest University,Xi’an China. She holds a Ph.D. and has been a visiting scholar in the English Department at CSU in the United States. She is a supervisor for master's students in Foreign Linguistics and Applied Linguistics as well as Translation and Interpretation (MTI) programs. She also supervises Ph.D. and master's students in Sino-Korean joint programs. Her research interests include linguistics, testing theory and practice, teacher education, translation theory and criticism, and the Sinicization of Marxism.

In terms of research accomplishments, she has authored or co-authored a monograph, served as editor or co-editor for over 20 textbooks and teaching aids, led or participated in over 30 teaching and research projects at various levels, and published more than 40 academic papers. She has received numerous awards, including the National English Electronic Courseware Award, Second Prize in the "Teaching Star" National English Professional Group and University English Group competition, First Prize in Higher Education Teaching and Outstanding Teaching Achievements in Shaanxi Province, Teaching Quality Award at Northwest University, and Outstanding Teaching Achievements Award at Northwest University, among others.
